Santa, can you hear me?

Christmas is not even around the corner, it’s like tomorrow. So probably the worst time to share my wishlist, well worse I guess would be the day after baby Jesus’ birth, so this is better than that. But not by much. And I think in the end, it doesn’t really matter anyways cause no one is FedEx – ing a Christmas gift on over to HK. Even if you are in HK.

Regardless, I accept gifts for any occasion or no occasion at all.

Classic Mini Ugg in Cheastnut, Size 6, $135USD: Too cute!

I quite like these, Tiffany Bow Earrings, 18K gold, $350USD

Louis Vuitton Monogram Empreinte Leather Zippy Wallet in Infini, $1000USD: Because it would be so great to have this and I need a new wallet, so it’s also so practical

Return to Tiffany Bead Bracelet with mini round tag, 6.5 inches in length, $150USD

Tiffany should really sell this bracelet as a set with the above bracelet, so Santa, I hope you’re listening, I need both, Tiffany Bead Bracelet with blue enamel side, 6.5 inches in length, $100USD

Shampure™ Soy Wax Candle

Aveda Shampure™ Soy Wax Candle because then my place would smell so good Santa! $34USD

I love it, Radà Statement Necklace from Club Monaco, $289USD

Prepaid wifi for a year and someone to pay my cellphone bill would also be appreciated.

Thanks Santa!

Day 8: Adventures with Joe

Very long story short, I had a $50 dollar credit with Joe Fresh.

And if you read my last post, you will know how strongly I feel about velvet (probably more than you ever thought possible). Turns out Joe feels strongly about velvet too. In fact, it is a mecca of velvet in there! After 5 store visits in 4 locations over 24 hours (yes, that means I went to 1 store twice!!) – I am now the proud owner of :

1 pair of velvet leggings

1 velvet skirt

1 velvet ballet top

All in black, of course. I also got a black and white striped tank and to throw in some color, a grey t-shirt *smile – because of my credit, it all shook out to $33 – STEAL. Also, I worked hard for that. I took 3 modes of transportation across the Greater Toronto Area to get this shizzle. By the time I made it to the last store, it was the final frontier and I have to say, I am damn proud of myself. I am now a full blown teddy bear. Not many people can say that. And I know, you’re jealous.

This is my skirt! I feel very Blair Waldorf but 2000 MILLION x cheaper

Since I spent so much time with Joe, his new holiday collection did not go unnoticed. In fact, I saw it FIVE TIMES OVER AND WAS IMPRESSED AS HECK! *Picture a bear that looks impressed. Hands down, without a doubt, across the entire retail landscape (yep, I said it, retail *pause for effect* landscape) has THE best and most cohesive holiday line.

Tons of pieces that can be dressed up or down, in the office, at the bar, at home – wherever! I love wearing sequins at home, or anywhere, all the time! Sparkle is always appropriate. Plus the price point. I mean, I only have 4 holiday parties and I have at least 100 outfits (including current wardrobe stock) but when a shirt is $9, a skirt $29, and a knock off Chanel blazer is $99 – WHO IS SAYING NO?! Not I. Not. Period. I. Period.

Check it, it’s like the messiah (I only think I know what that word means, and I’m pretty sure I’m not using it appropriately)

Let's get this soiree started indeed

Faux Fur Capelet? Yes please!

Day 7, kinda like HammerTime, it’s VelvetTime

I want velvet EVERYTHING!

I just bought velvet pants, amazing.

I wanted a velvet top, it looked bad on me.

The velvet bodysuit sold out, distraught.

So right now my velvet collection is all of one piece but so many more pieces in my heart.

I want to write more but I really don’t think this blog post needs any more explaining, like, who wouldn’t want to be a teddy bear?!

12 Days of Angela

It’s been a long silence in the blogosphere and for that I apologize and am hoping to make it up to you by supersaturating the site with 12 Days of Angela!

The holiday season should be in full swing with parties abound! As such, appropriately, I thought Day 1 should be Tips on Holiday Dressing!

Tip #1

Try your outfit on before the party. This sounds silly but sometimes the dream outfit you envision doesn’t execute and panic ensues. I can’t think of anyone that likes panic. So that makes it bad.

Tip #2

Invest in a clothes steamer – wrinkles are so unbecoming.

Tip #3

Buy pantyhose a size larger than it says on the package – they’re ALWAYS too short OR where garters and stockings so you aren’t shimming up your pantyhose all night – can you say awkward? – Can you say inappropriate use of dashes?

Tip #4

If you somehow fuck up your hair, just curl it. It fixes everything. Or sock bun it.

Tip #5

Make sure you wear shoes that you can be in all night. Or at least once you’re drunk, can be in all night. Nothing kills a party like a blister.

Feel free to share your tips – those are the best ones I could come up with, and well, the golden rule – don’t drunk dial unless of course you’re into making bad decisions. Sometimes I feel like a bad decision is less bad if you know about it? Maybe?

Spring Covets

After a long drawn out winter I’m ready to shed the parkas and kick off the boots in favor of some lighter, brighter (well, maybe not brighter) apparel!

My Spring Covets:

Everything neutral! From nails, to lips, tops, to shoes – this season I need nude, blush, cream, nude, and more NUDE! Everything’s better when it’s barely there at all. (Does that make sense? No it doesn’t – does it matter? NO IT DOESN’T!!)

Keeping in line with my new neutral love, another thing I covet are these tan suede Clark desert booties – perfectly paired with shorts or skinny jeans.

This season I’m straying away from dark and going for a lighter wash skinny jean.

Tis the season for dresses! From maxi to mini it’s all about the light n loose!

You’ll need to cover up this Spring. My favorites? Anoraks and Leather Jackets!

And for me, black is always back!

Prada

Valentine’s Day is less than a month away and what better way to show your love than with Prada!

As MI 4 proved, this purse is multi-functional. You can use it at a business meeting, or to carrying your diamonds around. If you’re in a rush and need to jet, its crossbody  option allows you ease of movement while you shoot your gun. Practical enough for an assassin, this purse is good enough for me!

At just under $2000, it’s…..I’m not going to use the word affordable, but, reasonable…

Tiffany & Co

Blue is the color of my dreams and it is not the first time I’ve mentioned Tiffany on my blog! Last time I posted a picture of earrings for my birthday and what I’ve learned is, ask and you shall receive!

I am now looking at the most delightful, delectable, delicious looking tote bag by none other than Tiffany – boy does that girl have great taste!
